The Wider Curriculm

The Wider Curriculum at Crosby High School

At Crosby High we are committed to ensuring every child who attends here has every opportunity to learn and develop to the maximum.  Our mission statement is our overarching focus.

Crosby High School; a Co-operative Learning Trust where everyone’s rights are respected and qualities valued. Our excellent school is a safe, happy, caring place in which to learn and grow, to develop in confidence and independence. In our school firm foundations are built for future success.

In order to build those “firm foundations” we must provide much more than learning in an academic sense, we need to give all children as many learning experiences in as many different ways, in different settings, meeting different people to achieve this. This is the purpose of our wider curriculum offer as we know a fully rounded education needs more than lessons in the academic subjects.

Our half termly newsletter showcases the myriad of learning experiences the staff of Crosby High offer our pupils, (please see newsletter tab) as are all the photographs in the gallery (please see gallery tab)
