KS4 Option Choice

Pupils will develop these skills outside the classroom as they investigate and visit a range of tourist locations in Liverpool. Pupils will also have the opportunity to plan a visit  to a popular tourist destination in Wales and in the Lake District where they will  interview people working within the tourist industry. Students will be able to develop their independence by planning these trips and writing their own risk assessments.  They will present work from their portfolios and gain confidence in communicating with their peers and carrying out fieldwork with the public whilst off site. Travel and tourism’s Open Awards accredited work will be evidenced through photos, presentations and written work on the various destinations researched and visited.
