School Facilities
Here at Crosby High School we are very fortunate to have many different facilities that help with our pupils learning and development. These facilities are:

School facilities
All classrooms have projectors and most have interactive whiteboards. Forty five laptop
computers and Sixty five desktop computers enable the pupils to use technology whenever it is
required.
The school sits in extensive grounds with grassed areas and tarmac areas for sport and
recreational activities. The pupils are involved in grounds maintenance as well as eco and
environmental projects.
During the academic year 2012/2013 the local authority supported the school with a £425, 000
spend on four new classrooms as the school was heavily oversubscribed.
During the academic year 2013/2014 the local authority supported the school with a further
£450,000 spend in order to adapt the unused hydrotherapy pool and changing area into a
purpose built Sports Hall. The Sports Hall was opened in April 2nd 2014 by a local paralympian,
Jamie Burdekin.
During the academic year 2014/2015 the local authority supported the school with a further
£100,00 spend in order to replace the school roof.
During the academic year 2016/2017 the local authority supported the school with a further
£55,000 in replacing single glazed windows with double glazed units.
