Parent's Forum at Crosby High School

The Parent's Forum at Crosby High School was established to foster a supportive community for families of children with additional needs. Initially aimed at securing grants to enhance school developments benefiting pupils and their families, the forum has evolved to emphasise peer support and community engagement.

A key initiative of the forum is hosting regular coffee mornings, providing a welcoming space for parents and carers to connect, share experiences, and offer mutual support. These gatherings encourage open discussions on various topics relevant to families navigating the challenges and joys of raising children with additional needs.

Over time, the forum has grown into a dedicated group of "Core Members" and has successfully transitioned into a registered charity known as the Crosby High Children’s Support Group. This charitable status enables the group to organise fundraising events, such as Bingo nights with the proceeds directed toward purchasing equipment and resources that directly benefit the pupils at Crosby High School.

Through these efforts, the Parent's Forum not only enhances the school's resources but also strengthens the community by fostering relationships among families and promoting an inclusive environment.
